TARYN + MICHAEL
It's been a bit since I've blogged a shoot - so what better way to break back into blog posts than with this absolutely stunning shoot at Villa Terrace. Taryn and Michael are getting married later this summer at the Milwaukee Art Museum but wanted to incorporate Villa Terrace into the telling of their story somehow (it ties in perfectly as they're headed to Italy for their honeymoon!) so they chose to do their engagement shoot at the iconic location. We had a perfect day - we started off in the yard amid the hazy afternoon light that we were provided with after an afternoon shower. Everything seems to have started to bloom so late this year but we got lucky to have some flowers and greenery make an appearance just in time for our shoot.
After we spent some time in the lower yard, we went back up to the courtyard and terrace, and after a quick outfit change, finished our shoot in light that got even better than it was when we started. It was warm, summery, glowy perfection!
I am so looking forward to their big day this coming August. Taryn and Michael have such a sweet energy together and I can't wait to capture their connection again at their wedding.
