Joyce + Peter
OK. This is what I'm talking about! This right here. In our initial talks, Joyce and I discussed the vibe she wanted for her and Peter's engagement session. Pretty portraits are no doubt beautiful and an absolutely wonderful way to capture this time in a couple's life. But these two wanted something a little less on-the-nose. A little less sweet, a little more edge. We went over some inspo and they were really open to adding some edge; deconstructing the typical shoot. Some grit, some soft focus, some motion blur, some paparazzi style shots. We wanted to create the vibe that they were just hanging out, unaware that I was there.
Outfits: perfection. Locations: perfection. Dare I say, our shoot was perfection.
I am so looking forward to continuing to work with these two over the coming year, and equally excited for their big day next summer.
