Without further ado...

A new blog post! It's been quite some time since I've blogged last. Some years are easier than others and allow me a little more time to blog so I'm taking advantage of a small bit of downtime before the 2025 wedding season really takes off. It was such a joy looking back at these images for a variety of reasons - the main reason being Clare and Eric hold a special place in my heart. I had the honor of photographing not only their wedding day, but Clare's sister, Grace and a few friends and family members of the Druml gang as well. It's never, ever, ever lost on me that in a world full of talented photographers, this group has chosen to include me during some of their most special times in their lives and that means so much to me - more than anyone could imagine.

Clare and Eric were married at St. Patricks followed by the most lovely reception at Discovery World. A lone rain shower passed through while we were all in church, sweeping by us just in time for the sun to peek back out while we were taking photos at Lake Park. Cocktail hour was simply perfection, with the lovely summer air surrounding their guests as they mingled and enjoyed each others' company. As that time came to an end, guests were ushered inside to share an evening of dinner and dancing together - and let me tell you, there's no dance floor like a Druml dance floor. Wedding days fly by in the blink of an eye and as it goes, Clare and Eric's day was no exception. Time really does fly when you're having fun.

Clare and Eric, thank you for sharing your special day with me and allowing me to capture this snippet in time for you. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces again in a couple months, as I will be photographing Eric's sister's wedding day! There's no doubt their day will follow along in your footsteps - it's going to be so. much. fun.
