Kenzie + Brad
This shoot was a fun one. Kenzie and Brad live out near Oconomowoc on a beautiful property, where in a few short months they will exchange vows and celebrate with their family and friends in their very own backyard. I love when couples incorporate things that are most important to them into their wedding days and engagement sessions, so when Kenzie mentioned using their yard as the backdrop, no brainer - it was a natural fit. I also think weaving in something, or somewhere, you're comfortable and familiar with can really help calm any nerves caused by being in front of the camera. We wandered around the property, jumped on the trampoline, ran through the field with their dog Goose, chased the chickens, and ended the evening soaking in the most stunning fall sunset I'd seen in a while.
