Becca + Glenn

Becca + Glenn met over 6 years ago while both working at restaurants owned by the same group.  While they had shared a lot of mutual friends, they didn't know each other all that well and had no idea at the time that they would find their way to each other years down the road. Cut to summer 2017 - the two reconnected and began to spend more and more time together.  As they got to know each other more, they realized they had a lot in common and formed a strong connection.   They began dating and in October, the two went out to dinner at their favorite restaurant: The Noble.  After dinner, they returned to Glenn's house, where he surprised Becca with a room lit full of candles and he popped the question!

The couple married on Sunday August 19, 2018 during an intimate ceremony at Boerner Botanical Gardens in the Rose Garden.  The grounds of the Gardens are absolutely beautiful, and there is a romantic and magical feel to the property.  The couple greeted and hugged every guest after the ceremony, and you could hear Becca thanking and appreciating each person for attending.  She has such a kind and warm demeanor, and that feeling extends into her & Glenn's relationship with each other.  They are so sweet with one another, they easily share laughs, the love they have for each other is palpable.  From my outsider's view, I was able to observe moments where Glenn would be looking at Becca and the way he looks at her is beyond sweet.  I'm so happy these two were able to reconnect and find their way into each other's lives.  They seem to have such a natural connection and every part of the day felt as if it were meant to be.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests shared in a joyful reception on the first floor of Becca's dad's newly renovated office building.  Christopher Kidd and his staff worked around the clock to get the space ready for Becca & Glenn's wedding reception.  The building used to be a coffin factory, and I  couldn't imagine a better way to transition the space into its' new life by using it to host a celebration!   The room was styled beautifully - decorated with string lights, candles, gorgeous florals, and even a seating area styled by the bride herself.  The reception was warm, welcoming, and the dance floor was packed.  It was the perfect end to a perfect day.

The couple traveled to Arizona for their honeymoon, and will come back to Wisconsin ready to start their new life as a married couple.  I wish them nothing but the best in their journey together!  Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs.!
